Alleyne (Ali)'s Story
FREMONT, NH- Alleyne (Ali) Armour, aged 74, died peacefully on January 24th, 2018 surrounded by family and friends.
Ali was born April 17th, 1943, in Scarsdale, N.Y., the daughter of Cora Turner Whitten and Irwin Turner.
Ali enjoyed singing and spending time with family.
In 1978, Ali married the love of her life Dr. Eugene Armour, a professor of Music at NYC College of Technology. They shared their lives together and raised a family in New York, NY. Ali worked as a real estate agent in New York City for more than 20 years. Ali belonged to Etz Hayim Synagogue. She enjoyed singing and spending time with family. In addition to raising her two daughters, she loved her many cats and dogs.
Ali is survived by her husband, Eugene Armour of Fremont, N.H.; daughter, Jill McAlpine of Chester, N.H., and her husband ,Robert; daughter, Laurie Grinberg of Sea Cliff, N.Y. and her husband, Daniel, grandchildren; Molly, Lindsay, Emma and Matthew; a niece Erika Turner of Mobile, Ala.; her brothers Harry and Alan predeceased her several years ago.
There will be a Funeral Service at Etz Hayim Synagogue - 1 ½ Hood Rd Derry, NH, on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 26th 2018 at noon, there will be a service for Ali at her final resting place at Temple Israel in Ardsley, N.Y. The Family welcomes all to attend either or both services.
