Bradford - Anita Lucille (Jutras) Brown, 97, a longtime resident of Bradford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Penacook Place.
She was born in Newburyport, on Dec. 28, 1921, daughter of the late Alberic and Adrienne (Desilets) Jutras.
Anita was educated in the Amesbury schools, attending Sacred Hearts Grammar School then Amesbury High School graduating with the Class of 1936. She was employed at the former Amesbury Hat Shop then Ornsteen Heel for over 25 years.
She was a member of Sacred Hearts Parish in Bradford, the Haverhill City Club, the Haverhill Citizen's Center Social Club, and Cedardale.
Anita was the beloved wife of the late Milton E. Brown, who passed away in 1995 and is survived by her loving family of four sons, Robert E. and wife Karen of Poland, Maine, Richard M. "Dick" and his wife, Jeanne of Bradford, Joseph D. and his wife, Cathy of Longs, SC, Donald P. and his wife Jaquelyn of E. Hampstead, NH; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, six great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Monday, July 22nd from 9 to 10 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. (Rte. 125) followed by a FuneralMass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St Bradford. Interment will be in the Main Street Cemetery, Rowley, MA.Contributions in her memory may be made to Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St. Bradford, MA 01835.
