Ann R.'s Story
Ann R. Coddaire, 75, of Chelmsford, Mass., passed away Monday, October 16, 2017, at her beach home in Seabrook Beach, N.H., with her loving husband, John, at her side. Ann was born in Haverhill, Mass., December 11, 1941, the daughter of the late S. Joseph and Romilda A. (Carbone) Pepe. She grew up in Haverhill and graduated from Saint James High School in 1959. Ann was also a graduate of Bridgewater State University where she earned a Bachelors degree in Education. She dedicated much of her life to teaching and education. Ann was an educator at Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, Mass., for several years and served as a member of The Board of Directors for Notre Dame Academy. She was a CCD teacher for Saint Mary’s Parish in Chelmsford for many years and was a member of The Old Chelmsford Garrison House Association. Ann is survived by her husband, John W. Coddaire, III of Chelmsford, Mass.; daughter, Katherine A. Coddaire of Kennebunk, Maine; son, John W. Coddaire, IV and wife, Deana of Kennebunk, Maine; granddaughter, Casey P. Coddaire; and grandson, John W. Coddaire, V.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 20, 2017, at 11 a.m. from St. James Parish, 185 Winter St., Haverhill, MA 01830. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery on Primrose Street in Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations in Ann’s memory be made to The Academy of Notre Dame, 180 Middlesex St., Tyngsboro, MA 01879.
