Barbara D.'s Story
Barbara D. (Corbett) Warren, 89, of Salisbury passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, Mass. She was born in Boston, Mass., October 19, 1928, the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothea (Clayton) Corbett. Barbara was raised in Winthrop, Mass., attended local schools, and graduated from Winthrop High School. She was employed with Pentucket Regional High School and worked in the kitchen for several years. Barbara dedicated over 15 years working in the Hoyt and Worthen Tanning Corporation in Bradford before retirement. She enjoyed time with her husband and family and especially loved camping throughout the country. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Francis “Frank” E. Warren of Salisbury; five children, Linda Mazur and husband, Richard of Amesbury, Charles Haney and wife, Judith of Amesbury, Kent Haney and wife, Cheryl of Haverhill, Ronald Haney and wife, Pam of Warren, Maine, and Karen Sarao and husband, Charles of Haverhill. She also leaves behind two stepdaughters, Cindy Anderson and husband, Mike, and Jodene Comeau; brother, Laurence Corbett; sister, Ruth Ann Reynolds; two sisters-in-law, Joan Fielding and Patricia MacDonald; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her daughter, Dianna O’Connor.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830.
