BRADFORD- Barbara M. (McCarron) Lavallee, 89, of Bradford, died Tuesday, January 2, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, surrounded by family.
She was born in Bradford, January 11, 1928, daughter of the late Daniel and Clara (Whalen) McCarron.
Educated in the Haverhill school system, Mrs. Lavalle was a lifelong member of Sacred Hearts Parish.
Her 25 years of employment at the former Western Electric/AT&T began at age 16 in order to support her family following the death of her father. Leaving to raise her family, she returned to Western Electric and retired in 1985.
She was a longtime supporter of Catholic Charities and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Donald A. Lavallee, Sr. who died in 1994 and her survivors include two daughters, Dr. Maureen M. Lavallee of Holden, MA, Susan M. Luscomb of Sandown, N.H.; a son; Donald A. Lavallee, Jr. of Bradford, six grandchildren; Alexander and Andrew Van Kleeck, Siani, Daniel, Nicholas and Hannah Luscomb.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling visitation on Monday morning, January 8, from 9:30 to 10:30 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford, followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill.
