Bernard's Story

Bernard DiMambro, 85, of Lawrence passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017, at the Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen. He was born in Woburn and was the son of the late Luigi “Louis” and Maria (Pinchera) DiMambro.
Mr. DiMambro was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School. After graduation, he served with the U.S. Airforce from 1947 to 1955. He was employed as the head custodian for over 26 years for the Town of North Andover.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Anne Russis, Ralph, Edward, Francis, and Angelo DiMambro; and his daughter-in-law, Lori DiMambro.
Mr. DiMambro is survived by his wife of 57 years, Theresa (Doucette) DiMambro; son, Benedict DiMambro; brothers, Milio and Louis DeMambro. He also leaves six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, November 5, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will be on Monday, November 6, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
