Bryant P.'s Story
Bryant P. DesMarais, 65, a resident of Hampstead for the past 32 years, died Friday, November 17, 2017, at Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
Born in Lowell, Mass., son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Derbyshire) DesMarais, he was raised and educated in Chelmsford, attending local schools and graduating from Chelmsford High School with the Class of 1970.
For the past three years, Bryant has been working as a dispatcher for Rymers Express and was previously employed for 20 years as a copy machine repairman for United Business Machines.
A former member of Saint Ann’s Episcopal Church of Lowell, Bryant was a devoted dog owner and enjoyed cooking and volunteering his time to Destination Imagination.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Pamela (Lampros) DesMarais; three sons, and daughters-in-law, Brent L. and Erin DesMarais of Fremont, Scott L. and Allison Desmarais of Brunswick, Maine, and Cliff L and Rebecca (Coleman) DesMarais of Bondville, Vt.; a daughter, Laura L. DesMarais and her longtime companion, Ethan Crocker of Saco, Maine; a brother, Robert DesMarais of Chelmsford; and three grandchildren, Luka Desmarais, Samuel DesMarais, and Maissie DesMarais.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held on Monday, November 20, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Lowell Cemetery, Lowell, Mass.
