Haverhill - Carol E. (Danis) Silvio, 84, wife of the late John A Silvio, passed away July 21, 2019, at Baker Katz Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.
Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Oliver J. and Bernice M. (Hanson) Danis. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1952. For many years, Carol was a volunteer at the former Hale Hospital Coffee Shop in Haverhill. She loved bowling was a member of St. Joseph's Bowling League. A woman of strong faith, she was vigilant with her nightly prayers. Carol enjoyed spending time with her sisters, with whom she was very close, and they traveled together. One of their favorite trips was to Amish Country and the surrounding area. She loved her family and while her children were growing up she had an "open door" policy at her home, welcoming everyone. Carol will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Carol is survived by her children, Deborah A. Silvio of Haverhill; John R. Silvio and his wife Gina of Haverhill; Mark A. Silvio of Newburyport; five grandchildren, John D. Silvio, Melissa A. Barnes, James D. Silvio, Jason Rogers and Erika Richardson; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Rogers and Talon Richardson; her brother-in-law, Ralph Barnes of Haverhill; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband John, she was predeceased by her son, David A. Silvio; her siblings, Robert Danis, Rhoda Hammond, Oliver Danis, Nellie Galli, Elizabeth Barnes, and Dorothy Simpson.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 25, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill. Well my life has totally changed forever my mom loved everybody family meant so much to her I can honestly say I had the best parents a girl could ever ask for we were more than mother and daughter we were best friends I was mommy’s little girl and daddy’s lil Italian princess I had the best life only people could wish for mom love 💕 you so much this is my life now don’t know I will make it without my mom and dad God Bless you and My brother David hope you’re all together watching over us we need all of you love 💕 Debbie

I remember Carol and the family from growing up on cedar st., David was a great kid.. I’m so sorry for the families loss.

Its my mom she was so good to everyone but her family came first . I can honestly say I was loved can’t imagine my life from here always turned to my parents for everything in my whole life me and mom were no just mother and daughter we were best friends and I was daddy’s lil princess honestly I really don’t know I am going to do love 💕💕💕you so much why did you have to leave your loving daughter Debbie
