Claire R.'s Story
Claire R. (Levesque) Cambra, 81, a resident of Hampstead for over 32 years, died November 24, 2017, in Delray Beach, Fla.
Born, raised, and educated in Fall River, Mass., daughter of the late Joseph O. and Yvonne (Gagnon) Levesque, she was a homemaker for much of her life. She was employed for several years as a receptionist at Hampstead Hospital and was a longtime member of Saint Anne’s Parish.
An accomplished seamstress and cook, Mrs. Cambra enjoyed playing cards and bingo, trips to Bermuda and Jupiter, Fla., and watching Dr. Phil and Steve Harvey.
Predeceased by her husband, Ronald R. Cambra in 2009, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons, Michael R. Cambra and his wife, Estelle of Salem, N.H., Jason R. Cambra and Valerie Zanelotti of Hudson, N.H., and Keith R. Cambra of Salem, N.H.; five daughters, Jayne E. Cambra of Danville, Diane E. McCormack and her husband, Stewart of Plaistow, Christine C. Auger and her husband, Marc of Hampstead, Heidi E. Paleno of Jupiter, Fla., and Kimberly A. Smith of Vero Beach, Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Margaret Levesque of Delaware; 21 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, John Desrosiers, two brothers, Raymond and Roland Levesque; and a sister, Doris Bacon.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 10 a.m. in Saint Anne’s Church, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH. Burial will follow at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
