Cynthia A. (Smith)'s Story
Kingston, NH - Cynthia A. (Smith) Marini, 60, wife of Michael M. Marini, passed away May 12, 2018, at her home in Kingston surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Smith and Glenda (Turner Pearson. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1976. She was employed at Savoy Leather in Ward Hill, Marshall Industries in Wilminton and Avnet, Inc. in Reading for 25 years. Cynthia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her loving husband Michael, she is survived by her sons, Michael M. Marini and his wife Kerri of Haverhill, William R. Marini and his wife Hannah of Kingston, N.H.; brothers, Kenneth Smith of Sandown, N.H., Timothy Smith and his wife Colleen of Haverhill; sisters, Brenda Damon and her husband Ross of Raymond, N.H., Susan Boudha and her husband Brikki of Bedford, Terry Pearson of Haverhill; three grandchildren, Dylan Marini, Kirstyn Taylor, Nyomi Lyn; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-father, William Pearson.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, East Broadway, Haverhill, on Saturday, May 19, at 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Beth Israel Oncology Department, 330 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
