Cynthia (Kelly)'s Story
Cynthia J. (Kelly) Florent, 83, of Bradford, died Monday, August 21, 2017, at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley, Haverhill.
She was born in Haverhill, January 12, 1934, daughter of the late Natenis and Marie (Leach) Kelly.
Educated in the Haverhill school system, Mrs. Florent graduated from Haverhill High School, Class of 1951 and attended the former Burbank Hospital School of Nursing, Fitchburg. She earned her Associate degree from Northern Essex Community College.
For over 30 years, she was employed by the City of Haverhill School Department as a Vision and Hearing Technician.
An avid doll collector, Mrs. Florent made porcelain dolls and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and cooking.
She was the wife of the late Robert J. Florent and her survivors include a daughter, Cheryl LeBlanc and her husband, Robert of Bradford; a son, Stephen Berezansky and his wife, Judith of Bradford; two sisters, Kathryn Jackson of Salem, N.H., Marcia Chase and her husband, Cliff of East Kingston, N.H.; five grandchildren, Debra, Thomas, Michelle, Felicia and Jaclyn, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours on Thursday afternoon, August 24, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a funeral service at 3:15 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
