Daniel C.'s Story
Daniel Carl Kellerer, 44, of Methuen, passed away after a long and courageous battle with drug addiction.
Daniel was born on May 15, 1973, raised in Lawrence, Mass., and attended Central Catholic High School, graduating with the Class of 1991. Believing in the value of a secondary education, Daniel attended the University of Massachusetts – Boston, graduating with his Bachelor’s Degree in teaching. He was bilingual in Spanish and held various teaching positions throughout his career. Daniel loved life, was very well travelled, and he was a very generous and selfless person. He was full of energy and brought so much joy to everyone around him. Daniel had a great passion for writing and was deeply loved by his friends and family. He touched many lives in many different circles, he will fondly be cherished, loved and missed.
Daniel was the beloved son of Carl Kellerer. He was the cherished brother of his three siblings; his brother, Peter Kellerer of Methuen, his brother, Scott Kellerer of Methuen, and his sister, Patricia Legrow and her husband, Ryan of Methuen. Daniel was the devoted uncle to his six nieces and nephews, Heather, Mary, Emma, Sean, Ryan, and Aiden. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Kellerer (Earley) in 2003.
Friends and family are cordially invited to attend calling hours for Daniel on Thursday, November 2, 2017, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the end of visitation.
