David Philbrick of North Andover, passed in peace on Nov. 21, 2017 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
David was born on January 28, 1955, the son of the late Barbara (Dearden) and Arnold Philbrick, and was a resident of North Andover for 53 years.
David is best known for his gregarious spirit and his sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies, and cooking outside on the grill no matter what the weather. He was always willing to lend a helpful hand to any task.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Welch) of 32 years, his daughter, Melissa and her husband, Joshua Prentiss of Lowell; his daughter, Kristin and her husband, Blake Coleman of Lowell; daughter, Heather of North Andover, and his son, Sean of North Andover. He is also survived by sister, Dianne and her husband, Phil Marino; sister, Nancy and her husband, Michael Doucette; sister, Carol Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, Nov. 27 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 3rd Street, North Andover. A service celebrating his life will be held at the Conte Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the High Pointe Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830.
