Haverhill, MA - Debra J. Mason, 60, of Nashua, N.H., and formerly of Haverhill, Mass., passed away peacefully Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of David Mason. Debra was born in Haverhill, Mass., August 30, 1957, the daughter of Frances (Warburton) Vachon and the late Bordon Vachon. She was raised in Haverhill having attended local schools and graduating from Haverhill High School. Debra later graduated from Salem State University with a bachelor’s degree in Arts. She was employed with Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua for over 15 years in the medical billing department.
Debra was a lover of the arts and enjoyed spending time with family, most especially her adoring grandchildren. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Debra is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, David Mason of Nashua, N.H.; three children, Laura Martocchio and husband Joseph of Wilmington, Mass., Matthew Mason of Nashua, N.H., and Stephanie Mason of Nashua, N.H. She also leaves behind her mother Frances Vachon of Haverhill; her grandchildren, Salvatore and Alexandria; sister, Amy MacRae and husband Bill of Haverhill; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Mason and wife Mary of Rhode Island. She will also be remembered by her niece, nephews, and many dear friends.
