HAVERHILL - Delilah Lovelace, age 6, passed away unexpectedly February 12, 2018 at her home in Haverhill.
Born in Newburyport, she was the beloved daughter of Rebecca P. Ball and her partner, Jacob Boudreau of Haverhill and Michael A. Lovelace of Haverhill. Delilah, a sassy first grade student at Golden Hill Elementary School in Haverhill, could make everyone she knew smile. Delilah loved to sing, dance and entertain those around her. She dreamed of one day being a mermaid like those in her favorite movie The Little Mermaid. A tom boy in a princess dress with a vivid imagination, she equally enjoyed pretending to be a fairy, gardening, fishing, snuggles and movie time with mom and G-Ma, rolling in the mud, painting with her mom or helping her "Gampa" with tasks around the house and yard or working on bikes and cars. Delilah enjoyed playing with her brothers whom she loved dearly and nurturing her baby cousins. Her love of dogs inclined her to meet and befriend each one she saw. Delilah was the joy of her family's lives, loved by all who knew her. She kept things interesting and has left a deafening silence in her absence.
In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her brothers, Evander Lovelace and Derek Boudreau; grandparents, Eleanor Hills and Ronald Ball of Haverhill; grandmother, Tammi Lynn Macri of Haverhill; grandfather, Miguel "Mack" Palma of Haverhill; Scott and Christine Byron; several aunts, uncles, cousins and large extended family.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Burial will be private. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice. Please visit Comeau Funeral Home on Facebook or www.comeaufuneral.com.
