Dennis L.'s Story

Dennis L. Sacco, 67, of Lakewood Ranch, Fla., formerly of North Andover, passed away peacefully, June 14, 2017, at the Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla. following a short illness. Dennis was the beloved husband of Kathleen M. (Shea) Sacco and together they shared 48 years of marriage.
Born in Medford, he was one of five sons of the late Anthony J. and Eleanor (Ristaino) Sacco.
Dennis was raised and educated in Medford and was a 1967 graduate of Medford High School. He retired as the chief operating officer of the Limbach Company, a mechanical contracting firm, after more than 40 years of employment.
Mostly devoted to his loving family, Dennis enjoyed traveling, cooking, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends at his summer home on Lake Winnipesaukee where they enjoyed boating, water skiing, and jet skiing. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his beloved wife, Kathleen, he is survived by his devoted children, Dennis Sacco, Jr. and wife, Kathleen of Tewksbury, William Sacco and wife, Jennifer of Pelham, N.H., Kimberly Faulconer and husband, Jeff of Northboro. He was the loving grandfather of Nicholas and John Sacco, Taylor and Thomas Sacco, Jaclyn, Paige and J.D. Faulconer; brother of Richard Sacco of Englewood, Fla., Thomas, Anthony Jr., and Steven Sacco, all of North Andover. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Thursday, June 22 at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dennis' memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
