Dennis R,'s Story
Haverhill, MA - Dennis "Danny" Lambert of Haverhill, Mass., passed away on Easter, April 1, at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Born on January 24, 1943, in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Delphis R. Lambert and Ethel A. Lambert. A lifelong resident of Haverhill, Danny was a talented sheet metalist for his family business at Lambert Roofing Company.
Danny was an avid NASCAR fan. He traveled to Dover, Delaware, many times and frequently attended local races. One of his favorite pastimes was boating on the Merrimack River. Each year he looked forward to growing vegetables in his garden. He enjoyed watching them grow so much he started a second garden at his niece's house. He loved meeting new people and would strike up a conversation with anyone. His favorite topics to discuss were current events and politics. At every election, he was the first one in line to vote. His family will deeply miss him and the stories he told, always keeping them entertained. Danny was loving, supportive and one of a kind to those close to him. He used many catchphrases that his family will reminisce about. His signature phrase "don't worry" will always live on.
