DERRY, NH - Born and educated in Auclair, Quebec; She was the matriach of the Pelletier family. Owned and operate a general store while raising six children before moving to the United States in 1970 where she helped manage 58 apartments alongside her husband. She was very well-loved by all family and friends. Most people knew her as Memere. Doris was an avid card, yahtzee, and bingo player. You could always find her doing one of her many word searches or reading her Bible. She loved to travel and spent 30 summers at Forest Lake. She always had an open-door-policy; all were welcome. She would never refuse anyone a warm meal. She was everyone's babysitter and always said if the kids aren't getting dirty they aren't having fun. She would also say kids are meant to be heard. She was the founder of Angels of Mercy, with currently over 200 members. She was married to Loinel Pelletier (deceased) for 55 years.
She is survived by her loving children, Huguette Boutot and Fernand of Derry, N.H., late Noella Morin and Gaetan of Lawrence, late Maurius Pelletier and Sandy of Lawrence, Michel Pelletier and Christine of Lawrence, late Linda Pelletier; Sylvie Roy and Donald of Bethel, Maine; her brother, Roland and his wife, Mariette Pelletier of Springfield; her sister, Nicole and her husband, Yves Paquet of L'ange Gardien Quebec. 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
