Dorothy Olive Himber, 97, formerly of Pelham, N.H. and Martinsburg, W.V., passed away July 28, 2017, at Carehaven Center.
She was born June 12, 1920 in Lawrence, Mass. She worked for many years at Haigh School, Salem, N.H. as the school cafeteria manager. Upon her retirement, she and her husband enjoyed spending time at their home at Little Island Pond, Pelham, N.H. and Largo, Fla.
She loved to read and travel, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Sherwood-Pike and husband, Gary; two grandchildren and their spouses; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Eva Reming; her husband of 52 years, Harold Himber.
