NORTH ANDOVER, MA - Dorothy Anne (Hoessler) Nolin, 80, of North Andover passed away peacefully on January 8, 2018, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill. Dorothy was born in Lawrence, Mass., on July 10, 1937 to the late Max and Ann (Rudis) Hoessler. She worked at Hainsworth Insurance Agency in North Andover for 30 years. Dorothy was very active in North Andover where she volunteered at the Historical Society and the Thrift Shop. She was a member of the Garden Club and the Festival Committee and played "Mrs. Clause" for many years in the Christmas Parade. Most of all, Dorothy loved spending time with her family especially trips to Nantucket. She also enjoyed poetry, writing, collecting antiques and making floral arrangements that she would often give to friends.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Richard Nolin, and son, Michael Nolin. She is survived by her children, John Eric Nolin and his fiancee, Melisa Gutierrez of Anderson, S.C., Linda Jean Nalbandian of North Andover, Mass., Laurel Flanagan and her husband, William of North Andover; and grandchildren, Candice Lynn Nalbandian and her fiancee, A.J. DeRoche of Haverhill, Jane Redlon and her husband, John of Topsham, Maine, and Erin Nolin of Anderson, S.C.; as well as a great-grandson, Nolan Joseph DeRoche of Haverhill, and great-granddaughter, Lucy Redlon of Topsham, Maine. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Ray Nolin and wife, Barbara of Litchfield, N.H.
