Eliot Roldan

Eliot Roldan Lawrence, MA - On September 11, 2018, the Lord's calling came to Eliot Roldan after his long courageous battle with cancer. Eliot departed at 70 years old full of his family's love.
Eliot was raised in Brooklyn N.Y., and honorably served in The United States Army having joined in his youth. He was a Vietnam Veteran and formerly worked in NYC for IBM. He also was employed with ATS and MKS in Dracut. Eliot was a Sr. Deacon at the SDA Church in Methuen where he was an active member.
Eliot enjoyed watching wrestling, Impractical Jokers and the Cooking Channel. He liked classic cars, roast beef sandwiches, trips to Maine and spending time with his family. Some words to describe Eliot are honorable, sincere, determined, humble, meticulous and patriarchal. Eliot will be sorely missed by all those close to him.
He was the beloved husband of Mauricia Pichardo-Roldan, and a devoted father of five children. He is survived by his children and their spouses; Belinda Roldan Natal and Nelson Rivera of Cape Canaveral, Fla., Nataly and Joseph Connolly of Dracut, Mass., Elliot and Yazmine Perez-Roldan Jr. of Cape Canaveral, Fla., Charles and Dionne Waithe-DeJesus of Methuen, Mass, Joseph and Yahaida Rimola-DeJesus of Methuen, Mass., Grandchildren and their spouses, Leonardo Sola, Beverly Sola, Eliot Roldan, Gabriela Roldan, Catherine and Cory Kideckel, Caitlin and Faguison Lima, Cassidy Connolly, Joshua Connolly, Sebastian DeJesus, Elijah DeJesus, Victoria DeJesus and Ethan DeJesus and a soon to be born great-grandchild. He will be missed by his siblings; Noel and wife, Gladys, Edwin and his wife, Vicky, Eunice, Gladys, and predeceased by Ruben and Lucy Roldan. Eliot will also be dearly remembered and missed by his nieces, nephews and their spouses.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours Sunday, September 16, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830. A graveside service and military honors will take place Monday at 12:30 p.m. at The Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne. In lieu of flowers the family kindly request that donations be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
