Filippo Musumeci, 88, of Lawrence passed away December 2, 2017.
Born in Catania, Sicily, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Maria (Cristaldi) Musumeci.
Filippo was raised and educated in Italy and came to Lawrence in 1967. He worked for DeLucca Fence Company and retired in 1984. He lived at St.Alfio Villa for many years and enjoyed spending time socializing and playing Italian card games at the Sons of Italy and trips to the Seabrook Race Track with numerous friends
Filippo was predeceased by his wife, Kady (Daher) Musumeci.
He is survived by his son, Philip Musumeci of Methuen; sisters, Orazia and Pipa with several relatives in Italy; niece, Sandra McFadden and her husband, Bob of Salem, N.H.; his brother-in-law, Edmund Daher and wife, Katherine of Atkinson, N.H.; sister-in-law, Doris Daher of Lawrence; nieces, Karen, Sharon, Chris; and his nephew, Eddie Daher.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at St. Mary - Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
