Lance Corporal, Frank Feirman, USMC Retired, of Boxford, Mass. and formerly of Massapequa, N.Y., passed away at the Merrimack Valley Health Center in Amesbury on November 5, 2017 at the age of 67. Frank fought a long and valiant fight, and finally succumbed to injuries he sustained during combat in the Vietnam War.
Frank was born in The Bronx, N.Y. to the late Saul and Kathryn (Fleming) Feirman. A true family man, Frank loved reading, especially history and enjoyed Historically true documentaries and movies. He was a longtime member of the American Legion, James L. Melvin Post, West Boxford and served his country proudly as a US Marine.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Suzy Feirman of Boxford, his children, Matt Feirman and his wife, Jayne of Dracut and Katy Langlois and her husband RJ of Bristol, Conn.; his grandchildren, Stella, Simon and Mia; his siblings, Nancy Sherman, Larry Feirman, Lorraine Feirman, Jeff Feirman and Diane Feirman; his stepmother, Florence Feirman as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, November 10th at 11 a.m. in the Conte-Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Boxford. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
