Lawrence - Frank J. Rozmus, 83, a life-long resident of Lawrence, died peacefully on Saturday, July 20, at MGH, Boston, Mass.
He was born in West Rutland, Vt., on April 9, 1936 and was the son of the late William and Mary (Hyjek) Rozmus of Lawrence, Mass.
Frank was a parishioner of the Assumption BVM Church, and attended schools in Lawrence before joining the Army National Guard. He was employed at Malden Mills for a number of years, and was an active member of the Laborers Local 175 Union.
Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing in his early years, along with playing a good game of 45s. He was a Boston sports fan, and especially enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, and Celtics.
He will fondly be remembered as "Frankie Baby" and "Cadillac Frank" to those closest to him, and for his keen sense of humor and infectious laugh.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home for their compassion and love that they gave to Frank.
Frank is survived by his children Lisa (Rozmus) Edwards, and her husband Greg of Derry, N.H., Wendy (Rozmus) Hurley of Leominster, Mass., Joseph Rozmus and his partner Heather Monroe of Rye, N.H. His sister Mary Jane (Rozmus) Fournier of Lawrence, and Sally (Rozmus) Gallagher of Plum Island. He was predeceased by his sister Louise (Rozmus) Beal in 1991.
Grandchildren Heather Beth Rozmus, and her partner Chris Foster of Lowell, Matthew McManamon and his partner Monica McNamara of Fitchburg, Melanie McManamon of Lebanon, N.H., Emily (McManamon) Cook, and her husband John of Fitzwilliam, N.H., Sheena (Rozmus) Collupy and her husband Derek of Bradford, Joseph Rozmus II and his wife Jen (Diaz) of Sandown, N.H.; great-grandchildren, Spencer, London, Jade, Scarlett, Mia, Layla, Aubrey; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and friends.

A funeral Mass will celebrated in Frank's name on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Haverhill St., Lawrence. Committal services will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence.
Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home Inc. 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.

Cadillac Frank Was One Of The Kindest, Generous, Giving, Loving, Spiritual Human Beings I have Known. He Sponsored Many Men in our 12 Step Program of AA, Started Meetings . Frank Believed in God and he believed in People no matter how far down this walk of What we call "Life" you came from. I feel So Grateful & Blessed to have Known and had this Special Man In My Life, he stood by me as Bob died, & Reunited Sibby & I ❤Your Smile, Life, & Wisdom Will Be Sadly Missed My Friend...You Are Now A Angel In Heaven as You Were On Earth❤

I sat next to Frank at Assumption School, very quiet and nice, I guess he stayed nice forever, Rest in Peace Frank.

I met Frank in 1986 in Windham NH. He always had a smile and a funny story to tell. Ran into him through the years and have not seen him in a longtime but he helped me and he will not be forgotten. RIP Cadillac

Cadillac Frank was an old fashioned gentleman, a huge influence in showing me how to live! One of the few people who would give me and my 3 kids a ride Mon thru Friday to the noonie ! Love you Frank, you’ll be missed but believe me well remembered

So sad we lost Cadillac, he was a great guy.I was a member of the infamous Looney Noony during the 80s and Frank was a fixture in that meeting. Along with me he helped so many,he'll never be forgotten. Ray C
