NORTH ANDOVER, MA - Frank J. Rullo, 84, of Andover, and formerly of North Andover, died January 22, 2018, at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Frank was born in Lawrence on May 2, 1933, to the late Fiore and Emila (Carpenito) Rullo.
He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1950, and later from Northeastern University. Frank served in the United States Army, and after his honorable discharge, he worked for Mass Electric for 35 years, and was active with the New England Power Retirement Community. He started as a lineman, and retired as a Right of Way Agent. Frank was very active in North Andover. He coached Little League, was a member of the Booster Club, and was a long-time parishioner of St. Michael Parish. Frank loved a good time, long dinner conversations, his vegetable garden, reading about World War II, but most of all, his family. He made friends wherever he went. He was a good man, and loved by many.
He was predeceased by his wife Barbara M. (Sifferlen) Rullo, and is survived by his children, Frank Rullo, and wife, Susan, of Salem, N.H., Michael J. Rullo, of North Andover, James A. Rullo, and wife, Eileen, of Andover, Paul T. Rullo, and wife, Patricia, of Essex, Mass., and Daniel C. Rullo, of Methuen; as well as grandchildren, Martha, Ellen, Michael, Angela, Kimberly, James, William, and John. He was predeceased by brothers, Modestino, and Raymond; and survived by brothers Fiore, and Carl; sister, Josephine Nicoletti; sister-in-law, Marge Sifferlen; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, MA 01845. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Parish, 196 Main Street, North Andover MA 01845.
