Salem, NH - Frank C. Shambarger III, 80 of Salem, N.H., died Monday at Methuen Village Assisted Living.
Frank was born in Lynn, Mass., where he grew up and was educated, and graduated from Lynn Classical High School. He was a resident of Salem, N.H., for over 50 years.
Frank was a retired Computer Engineer for Raytheon Corporation in Andover, Mass., where he worked for 38 years. He was an avid golfer and a 30-plus year member of Crystal Springs Golf Course. He loved to travel with his wife and winter in Palm Bay, Fla. He enjoyed bowling and playing 45s. Frank was also a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Frank was predeceased by his daughter Pamela Ann Shambarger.
He is survived by his beloved wife Catherine (Kotsiras) Shambarger; children, Denise Cannon of Derry, N.H., Cheryl and her husband David Ruffen of Salem, N.H., Frank Shambarger IV and his wife Heather of Salem, N.H., and Kathy and her husband David Espinosa of Salem, N.H.; brother, George and his wife Pat Shambarger of Exeter, N.H.; grandchildren, Tom and Nick Cannon, Kyle and Andrew Ruffen, Evan and Elle Shambarger, Kelcey and Kevin O’Neil, and Ava Espinosa; four nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, June 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, N.H.
