Haverhill - Geraldine M. Wynne, 84, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert F. Wynne. Geraldine was born in Lawrence, Mass., December 22, 1935, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Penzcak) Costa. She graduated from Woodbury High School in 1953 and spent most of her years in Haverhill.
Geraldine was employed with the John Hancock Insurance Co. in Boston, and later worked as a Key Punch Operator for Western Electric. She retired in 1975. Geraldine was a longtime member of All Saints Parish and was devoted to her Catholic faith.
She enjoyed family cookouts, hosting holiday parties, and time with her family and friends. Geraldine was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved animals, and especially enjoyed her cats Bootsie and Sammie.
Geraldine is survived by five children, Michael Wynne and wife Cathy of Epping, N.H., Mark Wynne and wife Kim of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Geralyn Grammont of Rowley, Mass., Timothy Wynne of Newton, N.H., and Matthew Wynne and wife Eleanora of Haverhill, Mass. She will also be dearly remembered by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many dear friends, including Melissa Wirkkala. Geraldine will be dearly remembered by all those blessed to have known her.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m., at The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830.
