WINDHAM, NH - James A Desjardin, 50, of Windham, N.H., died suddenly, Saturday evening, at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, N.H.
Jim was born in Cambridge, Mass., and grew up in Somerville, Mass. He was a resident of Windham for the past 22 years. He received his B.S. from Northeastern University, and his M.B.A. from Western New England University.
Jim was a Product Manager for Alcatel-Lucent/Nokia. He was very active in the town of Windham, coaching softball on various levels, basketball, and soccer. He served on the Boards of the Windham Baseball Softball League, the Friends of Windham Softball, and Windham Hoops. Jim was an avid University of Alabama fan, where his eldest daughter currently attends, and his younger daughter will attend in the fall. "Roll Tide."
Jim was the son of the late James A. and Geraldine (Farrell) Desjardin.
He is survived by his beloved wife Deborah (Liapis) Desjardin of Windham, N.H.; daughters, Leyla and Anna Desjardin of Windham, N.H.; brother, John Marrapodi of Atkinson, N.H., sister, Marie Tumbiolo of Peabody, Mass.; mother- and father-in-law, Ethel and John Liapis of East Hampstead, N.H.; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, February 28, from 4 to 7:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH.
