HAMPTON, NH - James E. McLennan of Hampton, son of the late Dougal and Margaret (Mackey) McLennan, formerly of Billerica, Mass., died Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at his home.
Jim attended Howe High School in Billerica and completed a 20-year career in the United States Air Force. He served in Vietnam, Japan, England, and Thailand along with US assignments.
Jim was a member of the Sampson Air Force Base Veteran's Association, the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Vietnam Veterans of America.
Upon his retirement from the Air Force he was a motor coach driver for Trombly Motor Coach Company of North Andover, Mass.
Jim is survived by his wife, Linda (Falcon) McLennan; his daughter, Bonnie Weatherford and her husband, Jeremy, and their son, Jacob; his cousin, John McLennan; his dear friends, Robert and Anita Cassidy, and their extended family, friends, Edward, Tanja and Jackie White, Robert and Ann Vining. He will be missed by his faithful canine companion, Lucky.
Arrangements are private with burial in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery Boscawen. Family and friends will be invited to a memorial service at a later date.
