James N.'s Story
James Neil Hopkinson, age 64, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 6, 2017, as he left his Plum Island home to go to work. Jim was born on August 19, 1953, in Lawrence, Mass., to the late James and Gena (Butko) Hopkinson. He was raised in Methuen and educated in the Methuen school system.
Jim owned several rental properties in Lawrence, Mass., until recent years. For the past several years, he delivered pharmaceuticals for Eaton Apothecary to group homes, mostly for elderly and handicapped clients. Jim was also survived by his sister, Nancy Lynch of Londonderry, N.H.; and brothers, Bryan and Tom Hopkinson of Lawrence, Mass.; plus nieces and nephews, Brent Davis, Brittany Bowley, Brooke McDonald and Brendan Hopkinson.
