James A. Tringale, 89, of Revere, died Tuesday December 12, 2017, at the Lawrence General Hospital.
He was born in the West End of Boston, on May 27, 1928, to the late Sebastiano and Francesca (Caruso) Tringale.
Jim was self-employed Canteen Truck/Food Vendor, proudly served in U.S. Army 1951 to 1953 in Korean War, enjoyed dancing with Ann (wife of 51 years), watching the Boston Red Sox, family gatherings, and singing romantic tunes. He was so proud of his only child, Jimmy, for following him in the food business with a successful restaurant and giving him two wonderful grandsons that brought him so much joy.
James was the widow of Ann Tringale who died November 16, 2017. He is survived by his son, James F. Tringale and his wife, Tiffany of North Andover; grandsons, Christopher and Michael Tringale of North Andover; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by brother, Guy, and sisters Rose, Mary, Barbara, and Josephine.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday December 16, 2017, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated a t 11:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Michael's Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover, MA. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, Mass.
