NORTH ANDOVER - Jerry Margolycz passed away on February 19th, 2018 at the age of 61 years after a long illness.
Born in Rochester, NY, Jerry attended Rochester Institute of Technology studying photography. He moved to Boston, MA in 1985 to pursue a career as a commercial photographer.
Jerry enjoyed many successes as a photographer but returned to his true calling which was mechanical engineering. He worked most recently for Elbeit Systems in Merrimack, NH as an optical designer.
Jerry joined the Cochichewick Masonic Lodge in 2007. Four years later he became Master in 2011 and served until 2012. After that he served as Secretary. He loved the work the Lodge did for the community such as the Angel Fund which Jerry ran for many years. He made many lifelong friends with his Masonic Brothers.
Best known for his amazing culinary skills and his sense of humor, Jerry never disappointed anyone with his fine meals all served with great passion and love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jacque (Padaroff), children, Ian, Oleysa (Ok), Kristina and Sasha and grandchildren, Brayden, Sophia, Jackson, Bryson and Anastacia. Also, his brother, Dan and sister, Mary of Rochester, NY.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, February 25th, 2018 between the hours of 2 to 5 p.m. at Conte Funeral Home, 17 3rd Street, North Andover, MA 01845
A celebration of Jerry's life will be held on Monday, February 26th, 2018 at 11 a.m. also at Conte Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cochichewick Masonic Lodge, 19 Johnson Street, North Andover MA, 01845 or The Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
