SALEM, NH - John C. Sadzewicz, age 63, of Salem, N.H. died peacefully at home on Monday, February 12, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. John was born on October 24, 1954 to the late Jeannette (Arsenault) and Chester Sadzewicz and grew up in Methuen. He graduated from Tenney High School in 1972 and worked as a self-employed carpenter and contractor throughout his life and for the past eight years worked as a carpenter for Property Management of Andover. He was an avid Boston sports fan and was chosen as having the Best Mustache by the Eagle Tribune in 1978. John often could be found woodworking in his shop.
His family members include his wife of 40 years, Jane (McGibbon) Sadzewicz; his son, Jonathan Sadzewicz of Salem, N.H.; his son, Justin Sadzewicz and his fiancé Sarah Esty of Seabrook, N.H.; his sister, JoAnn and her husband, Frank Bonom of Palermo, N.J.; his sister, Lynn Croteau of Derry, N.H. and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday February 16, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, NH. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 17 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
