Joseph M.'s Story
Joseph M. Cutuli, 55, of Methuen passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on Saturday, November 25, 2017, after a lengthy illness. Born in Lawrence, he was the son of Joseph and Josephine (Puglisi) Cutuli. He was a special man, known and loved by so many people for his warmth, friendship, and joy of living.
Joe was raised in Lawrence and later settled in Methuen where he started a family. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Northern Essex Community College. Before his illness, he worked for many years in sales for Sears, Roebuck and Company. Joe was a dedicated member of the St. Alfio’s Society and a former member of the Sons of Italy. Joe enjoyed all Boston sports but his love for the Boston Red Sox was undeniable.
He is survived and cherished by his loving sons, Joseph and Domenic Cutuli, former wife, Lucia Cutuli-Stella, all of Methuen; sister, Joanne Dauksewicz and her husband, Peter of Methuen; nephew, Peter Dauksewicz and his wife, Taylor of Dracut; niece, Anna Lisa Dauksewicz of Haverhill; and his grandnephew, Luke.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Donations in his honor can be made to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (www.theaftd.org). A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
