LAWRENCE, MA - Joseph S. Nicolosi, 25, of Lawrence, Mass., died peacefully in his sleep, while in Las Vegas, NV.
Joey was born in Methuen, Mass. He grew up and was educated in Alexandria, N.H., where he lived for 10 years before moving back to Lawrence.
Joey was extremely passionate about music and played drums and guitar. He got his first drum set at the age of three. He also started playing guitar around the age of 12. With Joe's incredible talent, he was invited to record professionally at the young age of 17. He loved spending time at Newfound Lake and the mountains. He was an amazing writer, composer, philosopher, artist, friend and loved everyone.
Joe is survived by his parents Derek and Diana Nicolosi-Jean of Methuen, Mass.; brother, Shane Arcidiacono, and his wife, Samantha, of Salem, N.H., nephew, Brandon Arcidiacono; maternal Grandmother, Millie McCarthy, of Lawrence, Mass., paternal grandfather, John Nicolosi (pre-deceased), uncle and aunts, Johnny and Tasha Nicolosi, of Lawrence, Mass., Lisa Nicolosi, of Haverhill, Mass., Adele and Mike Drigotas of Newton, N.H., and Roberta Nicolosi, of Newton, N.H., (pre-deceased); cousin, Ashley Monfet of Lawrence, Mass., and her son Aedin; godmother, Marcella Neubauer. He also leaves behind many extended aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 15 from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Carrier Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH. Cremation will follow.
