ANDOVER, MA - Julie Marie DeMarco, 48, of Andover, passed away on February 20, 2018, at High Point Hospice House after a courageous battle with a rare cancer. Julie was born in Troy, N.Y., on September 23, 1969, beloved daughter of Cynthia J. (Seidel) DeMarco and the late Francis D. DeMarco. Julie graduated from Heatly School in Green Island, N.Y., College of St. Rose in Albany and earned her master's from Boston University. She was a longtime special education teacher in the North Andover public school system where she was passionately devoted to her students and constantly thrived on continuing her own education to best serve them. She loved teaching.
Julie is survived by her cherished children, Luciano, Angelina, and Karli Robbins of Andover; her mother Cynthia J. (Seidel) DeMarco of Albany, N.Y.; her brother Patrick DeMarco, his wife Darelle of Merrimack, N.H.; her beloved soulmate Ronald Roach of Andover; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Julie was predeceased by her father, and her brother Andrew DeMarco.
Family and friends may call on Friday, March 2, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, MA 01845. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Augustine's church in Andover, Mass.
