June M.'s Story
June M. (Bomba) Stachalis, 71, passed away on October 3, 2017, at the Halifax Hospital, Daytona Beach, surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Lawrence and attended St. Patrick’s School for 12 years. She later attended Andover Jr. College where she graduated with honors. She was a home health care provider for over 30 years; it was her passion to care for her patients. She was also a dedicated Avon representative. On her time off, she enjoyed visiting Craft Fairs and Flea Markets, however her best memories were spent with family and friends. She spent her younger years in Lawrence, and later relocated to the New Hampshire area where she retired. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Mary Bomba, and sister, Dorothy Smithers. She is survived by her husband, Rodney M. Stachalis; daughters, Julie Parolisi and Nicolle (Michael) Angley; son, Shaun Lacasse; brother, Edward (Shirley) Bomba; two step-daughters, Melissa Stachalis, Bridget Stachalis; and five grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 350 High Street, Lowell, MA 01852. Private burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Flowers will be donated to the Holy Trinity Church by the family.
