Gilbert, AZ - Karen D. Roy, 48, of Gilbert, Arizona passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, July 27th, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ , surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on October 23, 1970 in Lawrence, to Mary and Russell Roy. Karen attended local schools and graduated from Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational Technical High School in 1988. She attended Mass Bay Community College in Wellesley Hills.
She was a Customer Support Specialist with Hemisphere GNSS in Scottsdale, AZ and recently received her Real Estate license and certification from Arizona School of Real Estate & Business in Scottsdale, AZ
Karen was a bubbly, happy-go-lucky person with a contagious laugh and loved life. She loved laughing, traveling, shopping, interior design, decorating, gatherings and spending time with her family and friends she is loved by many. Karen was an animal lover, especially for her dogs Fenway and Phoebe. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her father, Russell Roy of Derry, NH; her partner, Chris Silva of AZ; her siblings, Russell Roy Jr. of Orlando, Fla., Barbara Fraser and her husband, Brian of Salem, NH, and Kathy Roy of Derry, NH; as well as her niece and nephews, Kristen Fraser, Joseph Fraser, Mark Fraser, Matthew Roy, and Andrew Roy.
Karen was predeceased by her mother, Mary Roy.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice care of Arizona or New Hampshire, Animal rescue leagues.
