Laura M. (Suduiko)'s Story
Laura M. (Suduiko) Sierpina, 98, of Methuen, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017, at the Salemhaven Nursing Home in Salem, N.H. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Hedwig (Szynkowska) Suduiko.
Laura was a graduate of Lawrence High School and McIntosh Secretarial School. Prior to raising her family she worked as a secretary for Attorney Albert Dow.
Laura was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church in Lawrence. She was an accomplished pianist and played piano for the church school musicals, and loved to play Christmas carols at her home with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roman Sierpina and her sister, Hedwig Nowak.
Laura is survived by her sons, Richard Sierpina and his wife, Lydia of Twin Mountain, N.H., and Raymond Sierpina and his wife, Martha of Bradford; and her daughter, Carol Camuso and her husband, Richard of Connecticut. She also leaves eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Friday morning, September 1, 2017, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
