Loretta's Story

HAVERHILL, MA - Loretta M. (Lahaye) Dolfe, 95, a native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, died December 19, 2017, at Penacook Place in Haverhill.
Daughter of the late Edgar and Mary (Labelle) Lahaye, she attended Haverhill Public Schools. Mrs. Dolfe was a gold medalist roller skater, competing at Skateland in Bradford and other area roller skating rinks. She also enjoyed bowling.
She was employed as a clerk at Bennet The Cleaner in Haverhill for many years and as a nanny for the Blackman Family and also as a dance instructor at studios in Kingston and Exeter, N.H.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford A. Dolfe in 1991; her brothers, Edmund Lahaye, Albert Lahey, Frank Lahaye and Paul Lahaye; and sisters, Doris Deminie, Jeannette Pelosi, and Cecile Gorski.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by a sister, Julie Wood of Caribou, Maine, and many nieces and nephews and close friends.
