Marianne (Casey) Dionne of Kingston, N.H., passed away peacefully with her children by her side, on December 6, 2017. She was 75 years old.
Marianne was born on May 30, 1942, the fifth of six children to her late parents, Joseph and Gertrude (Conlon) Casey. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph, James, Ginger, Joanne, and Kathleen; and her beloved dog, Sammie.
Marianne was raised and educated in Lawrence and later attended the University of Massachusetts.
She worked many years in the Lawrence Public Schools administration, followed by a rewarding career at Lucent Technologies, from which she retired. In her retirement years, she held a part-time job at Walmart. Marianne was an avid bowler, and loved playing bingo, Scrabble, and any card game. She also had a love of travel and the beach. Her children and her grandchildren were her joy and she will be greatly missed.
Marianne is survived by her loving children and their families, daughters, Colleen Wilson and husband, Rick of Georgetown and Kim Englehardt and husband, Brad of Kingston, N.H.; son, Joseph Dionne and wife, Ana of Lawrence; grandchildren, Trevor and Mark Wilson, Betsy and Chris Guillen; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may honor Marianne by gathering for her Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 16, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main Street, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to consider volunteer hours or donations to the American Cancer Society as the volunteer services provided to her were so beneficial and appreciated by Marianne and her family.
