Marilyn T. (Lavery)'s Story
Marilyn T. (Lavery) Earley, 86, of North Andover, died Sept. 22, 2017, at her home with her family by her side. Marilyn was born in Lawrence, Mass., on August 9, 1931, to the late Richard E. and Anna (Yakawonis) Lavery. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1948, was a bookeeper for Rutter's Laundry in Lawrence for many years and was a communicant at St. Michael Church in North Andover. In 1956, Marilyn was married to George T. Earley, and together they loved to travel and enjoyed dinning out. Marilyn was a devoted and loving wife and mother as well as a wonderful cook. She loved taking care of her family and was extremely generous. Predeceased by her husband, George T. Earley, she is survived by her son, George M. Earley and fiancée, Rosa Viteri of North Andover. She is also survived by her grandson, Michael Earley of Portland, Maine; and Rosa's children, Karla and Mario Viteri and Shynna Leang; as well as a sister, Donna Bouthillier of Hudson, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Marilyn was predeceased by siblings, Anne Bowler, Dolores Hartnett, Claire Leonardi and Richard Lavery.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, MA 01845. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church in North Andover, Mass. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, North Andover, MA.
