Lawrence - Marion C. (Schiebel) Desrosiers, age 98 of South Lawrence passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February, 8, 2019 at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Marion was born in Bridgeport, CT on July 10, 1920, to the late William and Catherine (Sharkey) Schiebel. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Patrick’s Parish of South Lawrence. Marion was the past president of the Emblem Club, and a member of the Lawrence Elks Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed painting, playing cards, spending winters in St. Petersburg, FL, and trips to the Connecticut casinos and Atlantic City casinos.

Marion was the beloved wife of the late Paul E. Desrosiers with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Chuck Desrosiers and his wife Joanne, Paul Rick Desrosiers, and Loreen “Rene” Desrosiers. Marion was the loving grandmother of Karen Sarazin, Chuck Desrosiers Jr., Travis Desrosiers, Michael Desrosiers, and Jessica McIntire. She was the cherished great grandmother of Kayle Jo Sarazin, Ashley Desrosiers, Nicholas Desrosiers, Emma Desrosiers, Tyler Desrosiers, and Sydney Desrosiers. Marion is also survived by her sister in-law Jean Rousseau. She was preceded in death by her brother William Schiebel.

Friends and guests are invited call on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Parish, 118 Broadway S. Lawrence.
