Mary (Czyzus)'s Story
LAWRENCE - Mary (Czyzus) Baranauskas, 90, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Boston Medical Center.
The daughter of the late Boles and Daminka (Matulavicius) Czyzus, Mary was born in Lawrence on February 25, 1927. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School, and took several college level courses.
Mary was employed as a tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service at the Lawrence and Andover service centers, from where she retired. Mary was a loving mother. She loved to knit and crochet, along with other hand-crafting activities. Mary was an active member of the Christ Fellowship Church of the Merrimack Valley and the Lawrence Senior Citizens.
Mary was the wife of the late Vyto Baranauskas, and is survived by her son, John Baranauskas of Westford, and daughter, Linda Isola, and eight surviving grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 19, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Christ Fellowship Church of the Merrimack Valley, Railroad and Grove streets, Methuen. Everyone, please meet at Church. Burial will take place in the spring in Lithuanian National Cemetery, Methuen.
