METHUEN - Mary L. (Fusco) Mariano, 95, of Methuen died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Mary was born in Lawrence on August 25, 1922 to the late Michael and Concetta (Galfo) Fusco. She was a Methuen resident, attended Methuen schools and was a graduate of Searles High School. Mary was employed as a secretary first at The Bolta General Tire Company and later at Western Electric. She was a member of St. Lucy's Sodality and attended Holy Rosary Church.
Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed homemaking and loved being with her family.
The widow of Carl Mariano who died in 2009, Mary is survived by her two sons, Richard Mariano and his wife, Francine of Danville N.H., and David Mariano and significant other, Diane of Methuen. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Cheryl, James, Stephanie and Justine as well as her nine great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her brother, Sam Fusco of Derry N.H as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Michelina Ferrara, Josephine Venti, John Fusco, Julius Fusco and George Fusco.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish At Holy Rosary Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence. Family and friends may call on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
