North Andover, MA - Nanci Ann Bolduc was born to Phyllis Meninno Heffernan on July 21, 1961, in Lowell, Mass. She grew up in Tewksbury alongside her sister, Victoria, and brother, Robert, later attending UMass Lowell. After school, she began a career in accounting where she met her husband, Jerry, and settled down in North Andover to begin their family.
Nanci loved lots of things: the beach, a good book, staying up deep into the night to finish a puzzle, 60s music, coffee beers, marshmallow and strawberry sundaes. She was a great cook, but more specifically an incredible baker as her extended family and most certainly her children's college roommates would attest. No matter the time of day, she loved to entertain, especially if it involved feeding you: if you found yourself on French Farm Road, she'd send you on your way with a bacon, egg, and cheese if it was morning, a container of sauce and meatballs if it was dinnertime, a thousand cookies at any other.
She gave 10,000% at anything she did. While her children were young, she spent ample time volunteering in the North Andover school system, winning an award for her unselfish commitment to the town. Later in life, she could be found night after night poring over textbooks at the kitchen table, studying to become the amazing nurse she would have been had her time not been cut egregiously short. Even in her fight against cancer, she gave everything she had and more.
Nanci cared about so many people and was loved back equally in turn. She had so many best friends and hung onto them no matter which part of life they came from: her childhood in Tewksbury, time at school and work, living in town, and her second act as a medical assistant. She loved people almost as much as she hated ketchup (and pickles!). No matter what, she would always be there for those that needed her, regardless of whether that was as a party co-conspirator, a breakfast companion, or a true ear to listen.
Most important of all to Nanci was her family: her siblings, her mother, beloved dog Missy, her husband Jerry, sons Josh and Matt, and daughter Jessica. From family trips to Maine, long drives to Vermont, going to lunch or just hanging around the house, nothing made her happier than spending time with them. She wanted to give them the world, and she did.
Family and friends are invited to come celebrate her life and the beautiful person she was on June 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Andover Country Club. In the spirit of her endless generosity, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

I am so sorry for your loss. Nanci was an amazing person and I had the privilege and honor of being on several committees at the schools with her. Her laughter, her kindness and her big heart made people gravitate to Nanci. She was the one of the nicest selfless people I have ever met. She will be missed.
