NORTH ANDOVER, MA - Nancy (Wright) Greenaway, 82, of North Andover, Mass., formerly of New Canaan, Conn., passed away peacefully on March 8, 2018. She was the loving mother of Mark Greenaway and his wife, Patricia of Naples, Fla., Tracey Greenaway of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Sandra Kindlan and her husband, Brian of Andover, Mass. She was the cherished Nana to Christina Arechigo, Siobhan Kindlan, Emma Kindlan and Allison Kindlan. She was daughter of the late Elwin and Marjorie Wright; and dear sister of Peter Wright and sister-in-law to his late wife, Marion, of Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario, Canada, and Judith Wright of Lee, Mass. She was aunt to Karen Mangone, Susan Wilson and Kelly St. Pierre. Born and raised in Montreal and London, Ontario, Nancy graduated from The Univ. of Western Ontario and London Teachers College, Ontario, Canada. She was married to the late William Greenaway. Nancy spent much of her life in New Canaan, Conn., where she raised her three children, and moved to North Andover, Mass., later in life to be closer to children and grandchildren. She worked for Intersec Research and State Street Bank in Connecticut until her retirement. Nancy was an avid tennis player for many years, a kind and thoughtful friend, and a loving mother and Nana who enjoyed spending time with her "grandies," as she called them, spoiling them with treats and meals she enjoyed preparing. A Mass to celebrate Nancy's life will be held on March 15 at Saint Michael Parish in North Andover, Mass., at 10 a.m. followed by a procession to West Parish Cemetery in Andover, Mass., where she will be placed to rest. If desired, in lieu of flowers donations may be made on Nancy's behalf to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
