Patricia (Hanlon)'s Story
Patricia A. Fleming (Hanlon), 78, of Methuen, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Lawrence, she was the only daughter of the late Robert E. and Kathleen (Golden) Fleming.
Raised and educated in Lawrence, Patricia was a graduate of St. Augustine School and Lawrence High School. While working at the phone company she met and married the love of her life James Fleming in 1960. Jim retired from the phone company, but Patricia went on to the Methuen Public School System where she worked as an ESL paraprofessional until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Fleming; two sons, James Fleming and his wife, Christine of Auburn, N.H., and John Fleming of Methuen; cherished grandmother of Patrick Fleming of Dover, N.H., Kelly Fleming of Guilford, Conn., and Paige Fleming of Lynnfield; loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at St. Lucy's Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
