Surrounded by family, Patricia Anne "Trish" (Oldfather) Kelly, 88, of Exeter, died peacefully on January 12, at Exeter Hospital, after a brief illness. She leaves behind her three children and their spouses, Bob (Karen; Exeter, NH), Chuck (Trish; Naperville, IL), and Enid (Adrian Read; London, UK); four grandchildren, (Shalagh, Ryan, Devin, and Katie); and four great-grandchildren (Brinley, Everett, Asher and Theo). She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Enid Oldfather, and her loving husband William (Bill) Kelly.
Born in Fremont, Ohio, Trish grew up and attended school in Painesville, Ohio. After graduation from Ohio Wesleyan University, she became a teacher and taught for many years in a variety of positions in both Ohio and New Hampshire. Bill and Trish lived for many years in Salem and Hampstead, NH, had many friends and enjoyed a beautiful life together for almost 60 years. Following Bill's death, Trish relocated to Exeter to be closer to family.
Trish was an avid reader and gifted seamstress and quilter. Her family has been blessed with a legacy of beautiful handmade quilts for her family to remember her by. She also found great pleasure in playing the piano.
There will be no public visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be make in Trish's name to the charity of your choice.
