MANCHESTER, NH - Patrick Holloran of Manchester, N.H., just five days shy of his 73rd birthday, passed peacefully at his home Saturday evening, January 6, 2018, with his brothers at his side.
Born in Denver, Colo., on January 11, 1945, he was the son of the late Michael T. and Evelyn M. (Doucette) Holloran. Patrick was a graduate of Lawrence Central Catholic High School, Class of 1962, then went on to graduate from the College of the Holy Cross, then proudly served two years with the United States Army.
He was employed by Lockheed Corporation where he was a contract administrator, until his retirement.
Patrick was an exceptionally avid reader, having read every Pulitzer Prize-winning novel that has been published since the inception of the coveted Prize. He was also an exceptionally good cribbage player, loved his Guiness, easily became friends with anyone he met, and could not have been a better brother than he was to his brothers, Mike and Jim.
He leaves behind his two brothers, Mike and his wife, Joy of Big Lake, Minn., and Jim of Haverhill, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Services for family, Patrick's Manchester friends, as well as Patrick's childhood friends from Haverhill, will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the Monument Square Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 334 Main Street, Haverhill, beginning with prayers at 11 a.m., followed by visiting hours until 1 p.m. Burial at St. James Cemetery, Haverhill, will be private at the convenience of the family.
